OUR TEAM

Montessori World’s staff is comprised of teachers who are Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) certified. They bring a wealth of knowledge and over 25 years of experience to the classroom as they have worked in other Montessori preschools in Canada, Asia, and Europe.

With an excellent teacher to student ratio (two teachers for a maximum of twenty students), the teachers are able to provide the guidance children need as they recognize and address different learning styles in order to help students determine how they learn most effectively.

Our staff believe that the school is part of a warm and supportive community of students, parents, and teachers. The partnership between school and the home, through regular and open communication, is extremely important to us as we set high expectations for all students in helping them work to their potential.

A Unique and Enriching Environment for Children

Montessori World is a unique and enriching Preschool environment for children ages 2½ to 6 years old.

Located in a central location in the City of Vancouver, Montessori World offers a rich set of programmes with a focus on academic education balanced with enrichment activities ranging from integrated Fine Arts (creative dance, music) to French and Mandarin language classes.

At Montessori World, a child's unique interests and potential are nurtured and fostered in a warm and caring environment. Our school provides a well rounded education where the children begin to learn independence, responsibility, and self-discipline. As a result, many of our students have gone on to attend both private and public elementary schools with a very strong foundation and great success.
